Feidhmíonn Cumann na dTuismitheoirí i gcomhairle leis an mBord Bainistíochta, na múinteoirí agus na páistí chun fís na scoile a chur i gcrích agus tugann sé cabhair agus tacaíocht dóibh chun a gcuspóirí a chur i ngníomh. Tá fáilte roimh ag iarraidh bheith mar bhaill nua gach bliain.

The Parents Association as a team, work in conjunction with the Board of Management, the teaching staff, and the children to assist them in achieving their goals/ambitions and offer to them their continued help and support. A new committee is elected every year and new parents are always welcome.

Bíonn cruinnithe go rialta ag Cumann na dTuismitheoirí agus scaiptear fógra faoin gclár agus am an chruinnithe roimh ré. Moltar do thuistí a bheith i láthair ag na cruinnithe mar cuirtear fáilte roimh thuairimí agus moltaí nua.

The Parents Association hold regular meetings throughout the school year, prior to which parents receive an agenda and notification of the date/time/venue. Parents are encouraged to attend these meetings as all new suggestions and ideas are always welcomed.

Eagraíonn Coiste na dTuistí gníomhaíochtaí chun airgead a bhailiú. D’éirigh go han-mhaith le maoiniú thar na blianta chun acmhainní riachtanacha a sholáthar don scoil. Chomh maith le seo, eagraíonn siad ócáidí scoile mar Lá Ispín agus Blaa, cóisir don Chéad Chomaoineach agus tacaíonn siad le ócáidí scoile mar an Lá Spóirt, maidin caife agus laethanta ionduchtaithe.

The Parents Association participate and organise fundraising events on a regular basis during the year and parental support and participation is encouraged. Fundraising events in the past have proven successful and have provided funding for essential items. They also organise events for the children such as Sausage and Blaa days, the First Holy Communion Party, and support school events such as the Sports Day, coffee mornings, and induction days.
